Born on 24 March 1986 in Kota Bharu, Irwan spent 13 years of his childhood in Perak, 2 years in Kedah, and now he is in Class of 2009 in a University in United States.
His passion is mainly in investment and business. He is now pursuing his degree in Electrical Electronic Engineering. He made his first business transaction when he was in Standard 6, selling 20 cent Keropok Ubi to his friends. Up until now, he managed to earn over a quarter million Ringgit in revenue selling various item through the net. He enjoys reading books about investing, engineering-thinking and auto-biography of people who have changed the world. Besides that, he also favors self-improvement books by Anthony Robbins and Edward de Bono. To him, getting rich is not about getting a degree and a high-paying job, but it is about a continuous journey on how to manage the money better, making the money works harder for the owner.
On his journey to financial freedom:
This journey may or may not have a definite end. I might end up with no better wealth at all. In this journey, no matter how wrong a turn is, I will take it; for a man who makes no mistakes, makes nothing. –Irwan
For the time being he defines financial freedom as:
To have a steady income from either investment or business that require no active effort or both that exceed the outflow of expenses.
He is now enjoying his final year in the States.
