Anyone bought Citibank share?

image My friend, Kampung Investor, recommended me to buy Citibank share. It seems like the stock is running bullish. Just wonder how many of us decided to take the ride. Has the economy found its bottom?

Hi, I’ve been following your blog for a while now. I’m thinking of investing in index fund in Malaysia, but don’t know where to start. Any place in KL or PJ where I can invest in the index fund at zero-to-low sales charge & fee?

Also, I’m looking for mutual funds that focus more on value stocks with low sales fee. Care to recommend any?

Personally, I don’t think a bottom has been formed just yet. It is indeed just around the corner, but just not yet.

So, did you end up buying some Citibank stocks?

Did you see the news? Citigroup’s CEO Vikram Pandit had to face a mob of angry investors during their annual meeting. Hehe. Poor guy.

    Hie , Zaki..

FYI , the best unit trust fund in Malaysia is Public Mutual fund. Talking about Index fund, Public Mutual has this Public Index Fund , launch since 2000,doing very well with distribution yield 23.9% last year ( 2008 ) and this year ,2009 in the hard time , they manage to give 10.5% which is still good as compared to year 2005 till 2007 ( 7.9%,6.5%,7.9%)

If you are interested, you can email me at ctnur16@gmail.com as i am registered agent for Public Mutual.
