Finally, I just bought my first unit trust this evening. I’ve spent 2 hours listening to an agent explaining about what I have already knew. It’s quite boring until she explained about which stock is suitable for me. She is very helpful (she even sent me home with her Merc 
). I finally made my decision. I divided my portfolio to Ittikal Fund and Regional Sector.
What? You bought Mutual Funds? They are easy to get down but damn long to back up?
You are right, that is what I am expecting. Dollar cost averaging works best in Low-then-up market and in long-term investment. And for Ittikal, it has a gradual increase and outperform KLSI growth. It will likely to hike 50-80% in 5 years (according to past performance but past performance is nothing more than just an indicator 
).
Why I choose Ittikal and RegSec?
I invested 66% fo my fund in Ittikal and 34% in RegSec.From past performance, Ittikal achieved 70+% in 5 years with gradual increase in price. The just launched Regsec (i missed the 1% free promotion that ended 24 June), which is for aggressive investors, has more volatile price and is perfect for long term and risk-for-higher-performance investment. I am not using the money in this 3 years so it better be in mutual rather than 3% Fix Deposit, and I’m setting up autodebit from my account to contribute 6-7% every months. Neat! The lesser money with me, the lesser I spend it.

assalamualaikum en.mohd Ahid..cara nya sgt mudah..selain mengunakan cara cash investment serendah rm1000.00 unittrust juga boleh melabur menguna kan kwsp dengan mengikut umur..contohnya umur en.mohd Ahid 22thn n dlm epf acct 1 ada sebanyak 12k kami akan tolak rm5k(ini adalah mengikut kiraan epf n 5k ini akan remain dlm epf acct 1) kemudian balance rm7k akan didarab 20% (7,000 x 20% = 1,400) bermakna en.mohd ahid boleh invest sebnyk rm 1,400 .Senangkan..dari situ kami sebagai perunding unit trust akan melabur kan duit en. mohd ahid di dana2 yg sesuai mengikut kategeri risiko pelaburan en.mohd ahid..diharap keterangan saya dpt memahami sedikit sebanyk cara melabur di unit trust ini..boleh x sekira nya en.mohd ahid sms nombor atau email address kpd saya. supaya saya boleh terangkn dengan lebih lanjut. terima kasih

Kedua-dua mutual fund tersebut adalah tinggi risikonya, tapi untung duit! Kalau dilabur pada 1 June 2006, Public Ittikal ada untung 76% sekarang. (Untuk pelaburan pertama sahaja) , Public RegSec pun ada untung 74% untuk pelaburan pertama, bagusnya!

hi..jue..1st of all i would like to congrats to u coz u want to diversified your money..for saving in FD u will get 2%-3%p.a in unit trust u will get 10% – 15% p.a. Unit trust is medium to long term investment which is create to 3-5 year. And unit trust is manageable risk. I can assure you will have more if you invest in Unit trust.
You can also invest cash or epf(Account 1) in unit trust. Cash investment as low as RM1,000 and you could also do education investment plan for your child as low as rm100 every month.

As a consultant, i think the agent should explain the selected fund from our 59 Public Fund. Normally Agent would know where to invest your money. They are your consultant and please listen to them as for your own good, it will benefit you. It just like your private doctor, you listen to his/her advice..
But choose your agent wisely is the most important move to investment.

Nothing is free in this world….sales charge will not give profit to consultant. Sales charge is an admin charge where the company charge customer to pay their staff including fund manager who is full time staff that do the analysis and decision making where to park our money in which counter etc…and also of course consultant who is doing sales for the company. Plus with sales charge that customer pay, company will print marketing material such as prospectus etc …Bear in mind that consultant do not received fixed monthly salary like bank staff. Consultant are purely earn 100% commission. What ever sales charge that YOU pay can never make your consultant rich…. Like you, your consultant work hard to earn a living……

The consultant is just orang tengah for you to do the transaction. Kalau you rajin you boleh pergi sendiri ke ofis public mutual (bukan public bank tau). So far, ada satu kat Cheras, satu kat Bangsar, Shah Alam, Kelang, Damansara Perdana. U duduk mana?. Kenapalah nak susahkan diri nak travel all the way, nak cari parking lagi…so hasslekan?. Komisen yg consultant tu dapat actually so minimal…kalau invest RM1000 dia cuma dapat RM20 (2%) je n yet kena monitor that investment for many years. Say kalau 3 years investment yg cuma invest RM1000… berapa tu setahun yang consultant tu dapat (RM20 divided by 3). Ciput jer… Nak jumpa client, kena bayar parking, minyak, bagi advise, tolong monitorkan lagi… tu tak campur belanja mimun lagi..ended up mcm buat charity work pulak.
Memang ada consultant yang kaya raya…tapi mereka bekerja keras utk dapat tu. Mungkin client dia beratus2 n mungkin dia jaga client yang besar2. For your info, as consultant kitaorg memang tak ada fix monthly salary mcm org makan gaji. All based on commission per case close. So 2% commission fee sikit je kalau u invest for longtime, betul tak?. Kitaorang tak ambil untung atas u, whatever profit yg u dapat totally yours. So, pandai2lah pilih consultant. Cari yang akan setia dgn u no matter how much u invest. Tak pun mari jadi agen macam kitaorg.. then u know how hard it is. Anyway, good luck and all the best!!!

anda invest duit KWSP anda RM 10000 dalam akaun ni dari Sep 2008,
